Our expat family of four rented this beautiful home from Michiel and Caroline Wehmeijer for a year
and a half. When we visited the house for inspection the first time, we immediately fell in love with
its very spacious and functional rooms, cosy fireplace, breezy kitchen overlooking the large, totally
private back garden.
The house is conveniently located, close to the International School, woods, parks as well as
shopping mall and grocery stores. Michiel and Caroline were always very caring and attentive
throughout our tenancy and we could not have wished for better landlords and neighbours. This
really set the most welcoming tone for the marvelous time we spent in the Netherlands!

We had a fantastic 3 years at 72 Soestdijkerstraatweg and will be very sad to say goodbye as we
return to the UK. It was a great house, a great location with a great landlord (Michiel). It has been
very much our home!
First, the house: good size rooms with high ceilings. The kitchen/dining area has large windows,
overlooking the garden (perfect for watching small children play), nice first floor, perfect for family
life with two spacious rooms and a third as baby room or study, and a spacious top floor for guests
(or master bedroom) with an en-suite bathroom.
The location of the house is ideal, close to the A27, a 5 minutes' walk to Hilversum Sportspark Station
(direct line to Utrecht, Schiphol, Amsterdam), next to the woods of Lage Vuursche and beautiful
surrounding area, and . . . . with a great set of neighbours, who made us really feel at home for the
duration of our 3-year stay in the Netherlands.
And last, but not least, Michiel as landlord. A very warm, helpful and attentive person who keeps the
house in great shape.

We relocated to the Netherlands with our 4 daughters and rented the house.
Caroline helped us a lot with anything and everything we needed. Michiel came every time when we
needed him.
All aspects were great: the house extremely beautiful, well looked after. It all looks new and in a
modern style. The location is great, close to the centre of town, very close to the International
School, and close to an amazing nature area, and forest.
The rooms are ample and beautiful with a fully equipped, large kitchen. We had a great time living
there.
