The neighborhood is very diverse, pleasant and super child-friendly. It is a quiet street with no through traffic, except for cyclists and pedestrians who pass under the railway to Wibautstraat. There is a lot of social contact, many neighbors are busy with their garden and plants in the street and there are nice playgrounds and sports equipment everywhere. You don't have to leave the neighborhood if you want: on the Ringvaart and the Amstel you can enjoy walking or running, supping, walking your dog or swimming and sailing.
