Amsterdam-Noord has several shopping centers, markets, its own swimming pool, and a golf course. In the area of Beemsterstraat, there are plenty of shopping opportunities with the shopping centers Waterlandplein and Boven ‘t Y. The residential complex is also located in the greenest district of Amsterdam. A large part of this district, called rural North, consists of open polder land. It borders a beautiful nature reserve with wonderful cycling and walking paths. De Kimme is also right next to Baanakkerspark.
