Soon, twelve mid-range apartments will become available in Westerpark West. These apartments are reserved for households with a low middle income and will be allocated through a fixed selection procedure. Participation in the allocation round is only possible via the Woonwijzer.
Westerpark West is located directly next to the green and vibrant Westerpark. Here you live in the city, by the park, with all amenities within easy reach. From grabbing a coffee on the square to going for a run in the park and heading into the city in the evening—everything comes together here.
The apartments
The mid-range apartments are three-room apartments with two bedrooms and a living area of approximately 57 to 68 square meters. Monthly rents range from €1,005 to €1,260 (excluding €110 in service charges).
The apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with built-in appliances, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a separate toilet, an internal storage room, and a balcony or terrace. Walls and ceilings are painted. The apartments are delivered without flooring.
Completion will take place in January, no later than 1 February 2026.
For who
These apartments are intended for households that find it difficult to secure suitable housing in the current housing market. Therefore, conditions and priority rules apply.
Conditions
• A housing permit from the Municipality of Amsterdam is required.
• The maximum household income is €65,000 per year.
• Participation in the Woonwijzer is mandatory.
• The move-in date is in January, no later than 1 February 2026.
• The Woonwijzer must be completed fully and truthfully. All information will be verified. In the event of misuse or fraud, participation will be excluded.
Priority
Priority is given to households moving on from a social rental apartment in Amsterdam. Next are households moving on from a social rental apartment in the Amsterdam region. Subsequently, households with a key profession are eligible. The apartments will be allocated appropriately, taking into account household composition in relation to the number of rooms and the size of the apartment.
Allocation procedure
You first complete the Woonwijzer. You have until Friday 9 January at 5:00 PM to do so. After a positive outcome, you leave your contact details. No later than Wednesday 14 January, you will receive the result by email. If you are selected, you will receive the next steps by email and we will contact you by phone.
