It is located in a quiet area at the water within walking distance of the canal belt, Jordaan, Prinseneiland and Haarlemmerdijk.

LAYOUT The apartment has a CCTV intercom on the street side. Upon entering you are on “the court”, a communal courtyard. There is the next entrance door to the hall with the elevator and a double staircase. The apartment is located on the 1st floor. The hall is very spacious and is not shared with another apartment.

When entering the house you are in the hall that provides access to the toilet and living room. In the hall there is sufficient space for storing coats and footwear. The house has a light wooden oak floor, with the exception of the kitchen, which is covered with wooden black and white tiles. The living room is spacious (6.50m by 5.20m) and has 2 large windows that can be opened up to two third and where you can sit in the sun even when it is still cold outside. The living room is nicely furnished with a corner sofa, a dining table and a computer corner consisting of a desktop and a desk chest of drawers. Ideal for working from home. The bedroom (3.90 m.-2.60 m.) is connected to the living room but separated from it by a soundproof door. The bedroom has a double bed, on both sides a bedside table. Three narrow wardrobes on the longest wall side. Here is a large window that can also be slid open two thirds.

The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom and is 1.80m by 2.40m. This contains a shower with glass wall and a sink. There is a separate toilet.

SURROUNDINGS

The Westerdok is a nice area with a cosy atmosphere in a beautiful location. The combination of houseboats, old buildings on the other side of the water and new construction on the Westerdok creates a lively environment. Many people who live here know each other, which makes the atmosphere somewhat village-like. At the weekend and on Monday mornings there are lively markets in the Jordaan and on the Noordermarkt with special items, bric and brac, clothing and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. In the area there is a variety of nice boutiques, good restaurants and entertainment venues. About 50 meters left of the main entrance of the apartment is a picnic boat and a play boat for children.

Parking would be possible by renting a parking space in the underground garage. The apartment is heated by block heating, here is a fixed price included of 150 euros per month.
