For rent: Flat Cenakel in Tilburg

Description

This fully furnished two-bedroom apartment is offered
in the iconic Cenakel building in Tilburg, surrounded by a
beautiful garden.

Cenakel is a former monastery, later a conservatory and dance academy,
which was completely renovated and converted into 11 unique apartments in
1997/’98. Two residential towers were also built on the complex during those
years, known locally as the Black Madonnas, and forming an unmistakable
part of the Tilburg South skyline. They mark the transition
between the city and the countryside.
The A58 and A65/N65 towards Eindhoven, ’s-Hertogenbosch and Breda are also just minutes away.
In addition to its residential use, the old monastery has also been given another purpose.
Cultural and social activities are organised in the Great Chapel and the
Sisters’ Chapel, including (classical) concerts, exhibitions, etc.

After entering via the central hall, the original staircase or the lift, the
apartment is located on the second floor. There are two other apartments on this floor.
The apartment’s entrance hall also provides access to the toilet with washbasin.
Through the connecting door, you enter the living room, where three dormer windows
immediately catch the eye. The living room enjoys not only “natural” light, but
the two striking skylights in the high ceiling/roof also create
a wonderful flow of light! The living room includes, among other things,
a comfortable sitting area, a sideboard, a dining area for six and a tall
storage cupboard.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and
ceramic hob with extractor fan. The kitchen gives access to a
practical storage room, which includes a washing machine and a compact freezer.
The main bedroom includes, among other things, a double bed, a
built-in wardrobe and, once again, plenty of natural light. The main bedroom gives
access to the en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with a luxury washbasin and
mirror cabinet, a bathtub, a separate shower and a second toilet.
The second bedroom, which can also be used as a hobby room or office, can be
accessed from the living room or the main bedroom.
The apartment has its own parking space directly in front of the main entrance,
and visitor parking is also available. There is also a
covered, lockable space for storing two bicycles.
