Tram 5 terminates at Amstelveen Binnenhof and runs via Amstelveenseweg and Museumplein into central Amsterdam.

Bus connections from Amstelveen Busstation, including the R-net service to Schiphol Airport (approx. 15–20 minutes).

By bike:

Zuidas/WTC in approx. 15–20 minutes along the Amstelveenseweg, largely on separate cycle paths. Amsterdam Zuid, Beethovenstraat and the Zuidas office campus are an easy daily commute.

By car: A9 within 5 minutes, A10 south and Schiphol within 10–15 minutes.

For families: the International School of Amsterdam (ISA) is in Amstelveen, approx. 10 minutes by bike or bus. The Amsterdam International Community School (AICS) is reachable via Amsterdam Zuid.

For students: the VU campus and Uilenstede are 2 and 4 tram stops away respectively, roughly 10 minutes door to door, or 15 minutes by bike. The apartment is also within easy reach of Amsterdam Zuid for onward connections to other campuses.

WHO CAN APPLY

Option A — Professionals / expats, indefinite-term lease Maximum 2 occupants, optionally with one young child. A permanent or long-term employment contract is required, with a gross annual income of €80.000 or more (combined income is accepted). Proof of income, employment contract and identification will be requested. This lease is offered for an indefinite period, giving you full security of tenure and the flexibility to give one month's notice at any time after the initial minimum period.

Option B — Students, fixed-term lease of 1 to 2 years. Maximum 2 students. Applications are accepted only where two parents act as guarantor and can demonstrate sufficient financial capacity; the guarantee is formalised in a separate deed of surety and parents must be able to provide proof of income and identification. Both tenants sign the lease jointly. No further sharing or subletting is permitted.

Not permitted in either case: sharing beyond the stated number of occupants, room rental, subletting, short-stay or holiday rental, pets, smoking.
