Who are the studios suitable for?
The studios are intended for students aged 18 to 27 who are temporarily moving to The Hague for their studies. You are eligible if you:

• are between 18 and 27 years old at the time of signing the rental agreement; and
• are temporarily moving to The Hague from another Dutch municipality for your studies, or are coming to the Netherlands from abroad to study.

In addition, you must meet the conditions for obtaining a housing permit (huisvestingsvergunning) from the Municipality of The Hague.

Housing permit Municipality of The Hague
A housing permit from the Municipality of The Hague is required to live in the studio. You apply for this permit with the municipality. The municipality assesses the application and may consider, among other things, your income, personal circumstances and residence status. You must supply the requested supporting documents.

NederWoon can guide you through the application and, with your authorisation, can submit it on your behalf. Municipal fees apply to the application. Please allow for the municipality's processing time. The permit must be granted before you move into the studio. Meeting the target group criteria does not automatically mean the permit will be granted; the municipality decides independently on each application.
