The GEB Villa, history to present
The GEB Villa is the former administration building of the Municipal Electric Works from 1905, later the Municipal Energy Company, located on the corner of Hoogte Kadijk and Sarphatistraat. The building was designed by H.P. Berlage and is known as the GEB Villa. In the 1990s, the building was renovated under architect Pieter van Zaanen and redeveloped into an apartment building.

The Plantage neighborhood and Kadijk island
