The apartment building "Amices" has been established in a former office building at Dorpsstraat no. 10 in Bleiswijk for rental to seniors, with the intention that the homes are used by former residents of Bleiswijk, or by persons with a connection to Bleiswijk. The building contains 4 apartments. All apartments have an outdoor space. There is a lift in the building. The homes come with kitchens, bathrooms and flooring (PVC) and lighting fixtures, except for the living rooms. The apartments have mechanical ventilation. All apartments have opening windows and/or ventilation grilles in the glazing. The homes vary in size from approximately 66 to approximately 80 m².
The aim of the rental is to provide as much ease of living for the tenant as possible, in this light a community of seniors is also aimed to be created in the apartment building, partly due to a shared background and life phase, with attention and care for each other.
The spacious apartments are intended for single or double households, without children. The apartments are all low-maintenance, sustainable, gas-free and energy-efficient. Both in terms of energy loss and sound transfer, they are heavily insulated. The homes are equipped with approximately 90 solar panels and batteries to store the generated electricity.
Each apartment has a storage room on the ground floor, additionally, there is a communal laundry and drying room available, which contains two washing machines and two dryers that are solely for the residents of the apartment building. The costs for using the aforementioned machines are settled via a payment system located in the laundry room. A bank card is required for this.
The landlord intends to place an electric car-sharing vehicle in the parking area of the apartment building if there is sufficient interest from the tenants. This shared car will only be available to the tenants of the apartments. Also, the costs for using the shared car must be paid through a payment system, for which a bank card is required.
For each unit, a maximum of one dog or two cats are allowed. Dogs must always be leashed in and around the apartment building, and cats may not roam freely outside the rented apartment.
Due to insurance requirements, it is not allowed to place electric bikes in the storage areas; a secure bike storage area with the necessary connections to charge the batteries is available for these bicycles.
The rent is € 1,575.- per month. Service costs (lighting of common areas, lift maintenance, water usage, garden maintenance) are not charged to tenants. Compulsory electricity will be passed on at favorable conditions (up to 5000 kWh € 150, above that the standard tariff of Vattenfall is charged).
