L A Y O U T
Ground floor
Living room at the front with a characteristic bay window and a view of the green lane. In the extension at the rear are the living kitchen with a large kitchen island and the dining area. The glass rear facade with French doors gives access to the garden with a spacious terrace.

First floor
The master bedroom is spaciously designed in a warm atmosphere, with a glass floor panel and a view down to the ground floor, floor-to-ceiling custom cupboards and a bathroom with a generous walk-in shower, with double shower. In addition, a spacious children's bedroom and a laundry or work room.

Second floor

The home is fully gas-free and was renovated according to the principles of the 'passive house'. Facades, roofs and floors are high-quality insulated, with natural products such as cellulose and wood fibre, and all windows have triple glazing. The striking window frames are made of specially untreated wood, which suits the natural materials of the house. Solar panels are on the roof for own electricity during the day. A heat pump provides heating and hot water, and a heat-recovery ventilation system provides ventilation. The system continuously refreshes the air in the house while recovering heat and moisture. Together this ensures a pleasant living climate. The great advantage is that it stays energy-efficiently comfortable in winter, and remains a pleasantly cool place in summer.

L O C A T I O N
Hyacintenlaan lies in a quiet, green residential neighbourhood with shops, supermarkets, schools, childcare and sports facilities in the immediate vicinity. Haarlem city centre is easily accessible, and woods, dunes and beach are within cycling distance. Public transport and main roads towards Amsterdam, among others, are easily reachable.
