The area is designated a nationally protected cityscape (rijksbeschermd stadsgezicht) and is known for its stately townhouses and villas, long sightlines and square-shaped junctions, with characteristic details such as turrets, bay windows and stained glass. It was also the first green neighbourhood in the city, with broad, tree lined avenues.

Proof of enrolment at a recognised educational institution (MBO/HBO/WO)
Proof of your current place of residence outside The Hague: a BRP extract, tenancy agreement or recent utility bill, no older than three months

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why do I have to prove that I am moving from outside The Hague?
Under the Fixed Tenancy Agreements Act, a fixed term tenancy may only be offered to specific groups, including students who move to another municipality for their studies. As the landlord we are obliged to check and record this.

How many people may live in the apartment?
The apartment is suitable for a maximum of two occupants. Subletting is not permitted.

Can the contract be extended after 12 months?
Once the fixed term tenancy has ended, an open ended tenancy agreement is the only form that can be offered, and only if both parties wish to continue.

When is the apartment available?
The apartment is available immediately. You can state your preferred starting date in your application.
