Note income requirement: the gross monthly income must be at least four times the monthly rent. Any personal assets can be added to the gross income by 10% if verifiable.

General provisions

  • All registrants will receive notification about the next steps in the procedure.
  • All income data must be verifiable before signing the lease.
  • Self-employed entrepreneurs must provide a certified accountant's declaration and a recent extract from the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Deposit: usually 2 months' rent; entrepreneurs may need to provide a bank guarantee of at least 3 months' rent including service costs.
  • Identity document and tenant declaration are required for signing.
  • Lease agreement according to the landlord's usual model, minimum 1 year, direct debit is mandatory.
  • Screening by GGN or similar organization on all registrations.
  • Data will be processed according to AVG and treated confidentially.
  • Registration is entirely voluntary; no rights can be derived from the registration form.
  • Applications can be rejected without stating a reason.
  • Submitted documents will not be retained and will be destroyed within 2 months.
