Due to the adopted Fixed Rental Contracts Act, this rental agreement is exclusively permitted for the following target groups:

Groups for whom the exception applies:

1. Students from outside Gouda who will live closer to their studies due to this housing (You must provide proof by means of a study registration) (Persons who wish to live temporarily in another municipality within the Netherlands for their studies or are from abroad and study in the Netherlands)
2. Urgent housing seekers (urgency declaration required, which must be provided by the municipality of Gouda)
3. Parents who have recently separated and want to live closer to each other and the children due to this housing (recent separation involving children, proof from the court or similar must be provided)

Tenants wishing to qualify for this rental housing must provide proof that they meet the established conditions.

At Blauwstraat in Gouda you will find this studio within walking distance of the Markt of Gouda. Through the front door, you enter the shared entrance of the building where about eight studios and rooms are connected via the front door.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

After viewing, screening will be done on income and reliability in various (public) registers. Tenant must fully and successfully complete this screening and finish with 5 stars, the best score in our screening tool (Properize). The choice to rent the property to candidates is entirely up to the property owner. If multiple candidates successfully complete the screening, the choice will be based on income, screening, and personal situation of the tenant. As a tenant, you have the opportunity to explain your personal situation during the screening.

Candidates who are not awarded the property after screening have the right to further explanation and can of course view the screening report.

NOTE: Rotsvast represents the interests of the owner, who has an interest in renting at the available date. With a fully completed screening, Rotsvast will directly present a file to the owner. If a file has already been accepted, files that are fully submitted afterwards will no longer be considered in the process. It is the responsibility of candidate tenants to submit a complete file as quickly as possible. Rotsvast will not actively inform tenants about the progress of the ongoing screening process of other candidate tenants. In a tight housing market, Rotsvast assumes that candidate tenants are aware of the importance of acting promptly.
