With the departure of the last orphan, both the function and the historical interior of the centuries-old orphanage disappeared. Hendrick de Keyser has restored the complex in phases over the past few years, making it more sustainable and bringing its history back as much as possible. The last phase, the southern wing, has been completed. There are six apartments available here, including the one at Lindenhof 13.

Restoration
The exterior – façades, frames, and roofs – has been completely restored. Inside, the structure and layout have been renewed, with references to the historical interior. Additionally, there has been a strong focus on sustainability: the outer façades have been insulated, monument glass has been installed, and interior walls are made of timber frame construction. All units feature modern installations such as underfloor heating, new kitchen, bathroom, and toilet, six solar panels, WTW ventilation, and a heat pump. Thanks to these measures, the apartments and the commercial space are completely gas-free and have at least energy label A+.

Layout Lindenhof 13:
This 97 m² apartment is located on the first and second floors and is accessed via a shared entrance. You enter a long hallway (approx. 7.7 m²), adjacent to a toilet room (approx. 1.1 m²), the stairs to the second residential floor, and access to the spacious living room (approx. 28.1 m²) with open kitchen (approx. 15.7 m²) and a stair cupboard.
